Story
Nature4Cities is a Horizon2020 funded research and innovation project developing a comprehensive reference platform for Nature Based Solutions for Europe. The platform provides technical solutions as well as methods and tools to innovate urban planning and decision-making processes through the use of greening. This addresses a wide range of environmental, social and economic challenges facing European cities.
Nature4Cities brings the idea of nature back into innovation, planning and implementation. This new technical and management-based approach prioritizes joint development for and with the population, science, legislators and business. Co-creation processes and best-practice sharing play a central role.
