The LivingPANELS system is the result of a three-year, Europe-wide research project in which state-of-the-art technologies and innovative approaches to façade greening were developed and tested. The LivingPANELS system is characterized by integrated assembly and disassembly, which can be carried out particularly easily and quickly thanks to the “plug & play” principle. It is a complete, rear-ventilated facade system that includes effective insulation and is suitable for both new and existing buildings. With a weight of less than 50 kg/m², the system is light and easy to handle, yet comprehensively tested in terms of statics and building physics. Another advantage is the immediate greening on completion, which is guaranteed by pre-cultivation.
